5 artists on stage

Vertical
Influences

Vertical Influences is a contemporary skating double-bill. Through a unique virtuosity, "Influences" explores human inter-relations and the the link between an individual and its group.

About

Leadership, bullying, individualism, rivalry… We see a group living obvious tensions but evolving toward a new harmony. In “Vertical”, a superb group of five liberated individuals challenges the audience. Through an almost dizzying rhythmic and choreographic essay, a new relationship is explored between the audience and the stage: spectators seated on the playing surface will see very closely skating that moves air … a lot of air. Vertical Influences has been presented more than 130 times: theatres programming outside the walls, integration into artistic festivals, creation of a special attraction for an ice rink, etc. With their equipment, the company transforms themselves standard hockey arenas such as they are discreetly present everywhere into ephemeral theatres. It can also use outdoor skating rinks or have temporary skating rinks installed in any location. In all cases, well-established technical expertise allows ultra-fast assembly and dismantling, minimizing the impact of presentations on the schedules of the ice rinks involved.
