In a scorching post-apocalyptic world where ice has disappeared and music has all but vanished, two skaters navigate survival through humor, resilience, and love. Quietly observed by a gas-guzzling musician, their strange and beautiful existence unfolds in a world transformed.
Created by the internationally acclaimed skating company Le Patin Libre, MELT brings their groundbreaking work to the theatre stage for the first time. Performed on a rare 1990s prototype of roller skates, the production blends the athletic artistry of figure skating with the expressive power of contemporary dance and the spontaneity of street performance.
