For Who?
The school and its auditions form a unique program suited for skaters of almost all levels: stage 5 of the CanSkate program (or equivalent) up to the competitive senior level. The skaters will be divided into homogeneous groups.

What is it?
This school of artistic skating is very different from the usual figure skating lessons. It has a rich program focussed on the definition of skating as an art form and a culture. The courses are centered on:

- Ice-skating as a mean of self-expression
- Possible links to be created between skating and artistic culture
- The development of a common artistic project
- The development of the unique style of each participant
- The training of useful skills in traditional skating
- The development of the creative autonomy of the students
- And most important: FUN

Each course will include illustrated presentations about other arts, artistic skating and useful notions for skating artists (light design, idea development, soundtrack creation, etc), movement and off-ice choreography classes, on-ice courses and a time for the development of autonomous projects.

Each session of the school will end with a show where the students will join their talent to stars of Le Patin Libre troop.

The school will be marked by an inspiring proximity between its pupils and high level skating artists. Eventually, pupils could even be offered show opportunities withing Le Patin Libre troop.
